Sanitas & Bupa Health plans.
In August 2007 I joined the Sanitas Health plan-" Our mission", so Sanitas quote, " is to look after the health of our members by satisfying their needs at all times ". What a load of bullshit!  I am not normally so rude but when large companies blatantly change their rules, regulations and policies, to enable them  to evade payment of a claim and in doing so drastically increase their profit margins, is certainly not the actions you expect from a reputable company and these actions certainly do not earn any respect.  THIS IS FRAUD AND IT IS BREAKING THE LAW!

 How low can a company  stoop(?) especially when they disregard the fact that by doing such things, they could be responsible for the death of one of their clients. It  is time something is done about companies who use these gutter tactics. They should be named and shamed, shown up for what they are - nothing but criminals. These Companies should also face criminal charges. All the facts in this article about SANITAS and their Health Plan are true and can be proven. If you are contemplating taking out a health insurance policy then please take the time out to read the article as it could save you a lot of devastation. If you already have an insurance policy especially a SANITAS Health Plan, then please also take the time out to read the article, you may find the facts helpful in the future. As previously stated, I joined the SANITAS Health Plan in August 2007.  It was ON 20TH November 2007, just after I had been diagnosed with LUNG CANCER that SANITAS ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR TREATMENT. SANITAS THEN MADE ADJUSTMENTS TO MY POLICY AND ASKED ME TO SIGN IT!!                  HOW SHAMEFUL IS THAT?                                            I am in the process of compiling all the facts and information for this article, process has been slow because I have been receiving Chemo and don't always feel like creating web pages - please be patient. I have just been informed that the Documentary "Sicko" made by the famous Michael Moore has been shown in the UK on Sky TV recently. Although I didn't see it myself as I don't have Sky out here in Spain, I have been told that not only does it validate certain facts that I have stated regarding some Insurance Companies  and how they avoid meeting claims but it is also packed with lots more shocking  information about so say very reputable Companies. Well, well, what a surprise!  I fully intend to view the documentary for myself, in the meantime all extra info would be appreciated. CRIMESTOPPERS TARGETS UK CRIMINALS ON THE COSTA DEL   SOL  Crimestoppers, the UK's crime fighting charity, has launched the first ever campaign to target UK criminals living on the Costa del Sol. This was reported on the British Embassy (Madrid) web site. So I checked it out and sure enough, the UK's crime fighting charity has appealed for help. The campaign encourages anyone who recognises the wanted criminals on its website http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/wanted/  to call Crimestoppers from Spain to give information anonymously, on a dedicated Spanish free phone number 900 555 111. Calls will be answered in the UK by Crimestoppers call handlers.

So have a good gander at the mug shots and see if you recognise any of your neighbours - you know who to call if you do!
